Homework Procedures

Homework Policy for Grade 3

v  Given Monday through Thursday, with an option for Friday, if necessary. Your child will write their assignments in their planners. Please review and sign the planner each night. Since we check these every day, this is a great way to keep in contact.

v  Should take approximately 20 to 30 minutes to complete. If your child is consistently taking longer than 40 minutes each evening to complete homework, please make an appointment to speak with your child's teacher.

v  Is due upon arrival in the morning. If it isn't completed on a regular basis, your child will have to complete their work during the recess time. Please send a note, if there are extenuating circumstances regarding completion of the assignments.

v  Will be graded at the teacher's discretion. Your child should do his/her best on each assignment.
