The Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) was signed into law on September 13, 2010, and took effect on July 1, 2012. The law seeks to provide New York State public elementary and secondary school students with a safe and supportive environment, free from discrimination, intimidation, taunting, harrassment and bullying on school property, a school bus, and/or at a school function.
At the Reorganization Meeting of the ECS Board of Education, Superintendent Robert M. Dufour was appointed as the District Coordinator, Scott Krebs was appointed as the Coordindator for the Junior/Senior High School, and Virginia Keegan was appointed as the Coordinator for the Elementary School.
The District has a "Report Bullying Now" icon on the website for use to report any concerns for students, staff and parents/guardians. Refer to the Code of Conduct for details on the Dignity for All Students Guidelines.
