 Grades are based on a variety of tasks. Throughout the quarter, students will have graded class work assignments, thematic essays, doucument based questions, tests, quizzes and projects. Grades will be flexible. Usually projects count 3 times and all other assignments count 1 time. The reasoning behind this is that projects are long term and can be in control of the student. If a child is having a "bad day" on test day, the test grade should not impact his overall grade.

The final average is an average of all 4 quarters and the final exam.
As of the third quarter, there are NO LATE assignments accepted. If your grade reflects a zero, it means that you did not turn in the work.
